Hey everyone,
I'm in desperate need of interior pillar bars. I've stiffen up the bottom end with strut bars and sway bars and now i can hear my sunroof taking the flexing of the body. I have an 08' tC and there are airbags in the rear seat panels. So, what i'm looking for is a bar to attach the driver/passenger area. Anyone know of any?

don't, they're tacky and they don't work as well as people say. there is a company coming out with a harness bar that will do the same and will stiffen a lot more than a c pillar bar would so just wait a month or so until its released.

is it Ptuning.com? i was told that only with enough interest they said they'll put this into production.

otherwise you could do this but it would look tacky for shows.

Is it really worth it?

its not unless u really know how to mod ur car. this bar goes straight across which means you have to take everything of (really hard if you have side air bags) then put it on and then cut a hole (kinda big) to go inside it and then redoe your fabric and then put it back on. to me it was not worth it. i shouldnt of done it because now i cant figure out how one of the peices wont sit in right and when i did the fabric the stuff i used went threw the fabric so you can see it now. it took me 6 hours last night to get that on. its gonna be good looking when i change my headliner but until then im not opening the trunk. this is what it looks like from the back (this is not my pic. its the one on the product i just bought.)

yeah...i saw that and i was afraid of having the issue of air bags and fabric not being back to normal.

Have you considered a full cage? That should take the stress off of the body panels, not sure if there are prefab kits available or if you'd need one custom. They have them for the xB and it's pretty much the only way you can go if you want to autox, the xB headliner bar does nothing.

our little 4-bangers would really appreciate the weight of a rollcage, NOT!!!

unless well your F/I, then you can sacrifice a lil more weight.
