Retrofit!!

So, as a few of you may already know, I have gathered enough resources and b*lls to do my own retrofit on my headlights. I will be working with one of my friends on doing them and it should take about a month to do. Lukasz has helped me out in a great way by lending me a pair of headlights to use in the meantime (thanks a million).

I would like to know if you all would like for me to make a DIY write-up on how to do the retro. I will be using RX330-AFS projectors, E46-R extended shrouds (theretrofitsource.com), TSX-R clear lenses (theretrofitsource.com), and a 5000k D2S HID kit (ddmtuning.com).

I would like to add that theretrofitsource.com has great customer service, great products, and extremely quick shipping. I placed an order Monday night, and the box arrived at my workplace on Thursday morning through USPS with superb packing and the product looks AMAZING. FINALLY!! After hours and hours of tedious work, trial and error, and a lot of headaches...the headlights are done!! I apologize for the bad quality of the pictures (all taken with an iPhone), and for how dirty my car is. I hope everyone enjoys the pictures as much as I enjoy my headlights!!

Driver side projector hadn't been fully adjusted yet...

You'll have to keep in mind that the cutoff cannot be absolutely perfect (like OEM), because it is a retrofit, and it's my first at that!! So please cut me some slack and appreciate what I've done at least to make me feel like it wasn't a waste of time...lol. I will take and post more pictures upon request. Any questions are welcome, and I hope that this inspires someone else to take on this task...

I did the same on mine. Way to go!

Word of advise from a fellow retrofitter....take your time, don't rush anything.
