alright guys, I just put in my dvd headunit, and I did the relay bypass. here is how I did it.

I took the a ground wire from the head unit(there were two, I took one and ran it to the harness, the other to the relay) and put it on the two pins on the relay
I took the remote wire and ran it to the other pin
I took the ebrake wire and put it on the vertical pin.

The bypass works, because I can hit okay and then it takes me to the video, but only sound plays.

Do I need to take the ground from the pins and actually ground that to the car?

What am I missing here?

What head unit is it? I would imagine that if there are 2 grounds of the harness from the headunit they'd both need to be grounded. biggest thing for me is to know the type of headunit you installed

not right now, I am going to connect a ground to the ground wire I have in there now and ground it to the car and see if that fixes it.

Well I attached a ground to the wire that I had on there previously and then grounded it to the car and got it to work!

One thing I didn't know what that in order for the front aux to work is that it must be grounded too with the relay. It wasn't working when I had it messed up, but now it is.
