measurement of flip down TV

Hey guys I am looking to purchase a flip down monitor for my car. I was curious on how you measure the screen. Like if I get a 10" monitor is that 10" measure on a angel from each side of the screen is it 10" from the bottom of the monitor to the top. Just wanted to have a mock up to see how big I should go in the car, because I'm either doing the 10" or the 11.5"

measured just like a regular tv. corner to corner on the diagonal

Got the tv a while ago. Wasn't to bad of a install. Ended up getting some custom vinyl for tv to fit my theme.
