well i just hooked up a autometer boost gauge to my car and found out that my supercharger is fawked up. i'm in vacuum the whole time and not even hitting boost. i have an oil leak out of the seals and i found out my intake gasket is messed up. i ordered a new one from toyota and picking that up tomorrow. well i took it off today and tore that thing apart. at this point i found out it was put 2gether 04/07, not even a year old!!! the only problem is i'm stuck. i got it pretty much apart but i can't get the gears off. there is like a "JDM" locking system holding them on. so i call blitz up in cali and they are like oh we can't help you. your only option is to ship it to us, we'll ship it to japan and have them look at it. all i wanted to know is how the hell do you take it off. i'm taking it to a local machine shop to see if they can help me out at all. i'll update all ya'll some more when i know more. the last 2 pics shop the gears and the "lock setup"

do the gear move freely when you turn them? If so, the s/c itself is fine - there's not much to it inside, so I can't imagine it's a compressor issue.

It looks like you blew the intake gasket, which kept you from pressurizing the motor. That would be my diagnosis based on the pictures.

Is there any other driveability issues? like hesitation, sputtering, stalling? Your only problem seems to be the gasket. If it's not sealed, you won't hit boost, or you'll barely get any. What's your vacuum at idle? If your idle is running at low vacuum (i.e. 15 inHg or lower) then the gasket was the problem. If your vacuum at idle is normal, then you could investigate the f/i setup. I wouldn't start with inside the compressor though - there's very few places for failure on a roots style s/c - and given the condition of your intake gasket, I'd say that's your culprit. If everything else is fine and normal and you still don't hit boost, then I'd take the supercharger apart, but to be honest, it doesn't sound like that's where the problem is...especially if the gears turn freely - if they're turning, then so are the compressor screws inside the s/c, which is all it needs to make boost.

im with you eric, that intake gasket is f'ed up, plus i dont think those gears are designed to be taken off then put back on

DONT TAKES THOSE GEARS OFF !!

The rotors in the charger are set at VERY TIGHT TOLERANCES !!! We are talking thousands of an inch..you would have no way of knowing how or if you set them back right, at speed they flex closer together just a very little bit to creates the " Seal " that forces the air into the head and if they touch..your screws and so is the engine..it will erupt like a bomb !

Why didn't you just wait for the intake gasket and see if that fixed the problem? It's cheaper with less downtime. Worst case scenario is you end up where you are right now.

You must seem to think it's the s/c and nothing else...

actually the seals were blown, the bearings were bad and the clutch was worn. so it was the charger.

Like I said - you must have been pretty damn sure to just start taking things apart.

But you're getting it fixed, so more power to ya.
