Ok folks, so I just completed the angel eyes mod on my tC but I have to tell you that I was fricking nervous about placing my headlights in the oven. So to make matters even more worse for me after slapping one of those puppies in the oven for 15 minutes at 225 degrees, I took that bad boy out and thought it was just gonna come apart like on the video posted on you tube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-q0SVALfus) but no chance! So, after being nervous for having to put my lights in the oven in the first place I ended up having to leave them in there for a total of 30 minutes each at 225. Is my oven a piece of crap or has anyone else had a similar experience when performing this mod? In the end, after messing with the angel eyes a few times to get placement as good as I could so they all 4 fit pretty well in the curvature of the headlight and drilling my holes in the correct spots it came out pretty good.

Sorry about the water spotted lights but it was raining off and on when I took these. Also, I guess my camera sucks monkey butt because I tried to take a frontal with both headlights together but both of the angel eyes blended together and looked like one light on each side. :-(

Thanks, while I'm happy with how they came out after looking at them with my regular headlights on they kinda don't match. Not to say they look horrible but my regular lights are a tad more yellow than the angel eyes. What number bulbs will give me more of a white appearance so they match better?

Nice work!! I wanna do that myself but had someone else do it instead. Also, did you use superglue to glue the eyes ?? If so, i suggest you bake it open and redo it with some sanding and silicone or something. It'll become loose afterwards cuz of the heat! Mines doing it and sometimes the light just won't come on! Eh . . i'll do it when I have time. Just scared to cuz I don't wanna break or melt anything. I have the spec lights so i won't find that on eBay! LoLz the stealership will take my money!!

I went ahead and used epoxy which has a 225 degree max threshold so I should be okdoke in that regard. I used it to seal where the out coming wires came from the back of the headlight housing as well as at the top/backside of the angel eyes and a dab on the lower/center of the bulb itself. Since I mounted the ballast box on the underside of the headlight housing I also ran a bead along the sides and on the incoming/outgoing wiring to avoid moisture from getting inside. Thanks for the heads up though fella!

All good. I have to fix mine. Guess I'll puchase a new set to do so. Epoxy is a great idea! Good stuff mang.

Epoxy works great as long as you conceal it out of view or are only using a dab on the back of the angel eye bulb in the front/bottom. However if you plan on running an entire bead along that same area it may be better to use silicone instead as epoxy has a tendency to turn slightly yellow over time.
