Boot Length For S. Techs

whats the length of the boot in quarters for the front and rear
right now i have 1/2 the boot in the front but im not sure about the rear and im getting ready to redo the drop so im tryin to figure out what the CORRECT length is

the yellow piece or the "boot", you're supposed to cut it when you drop it apparently...im wondering what the length to cut it is

you don't cut that thing. i think your reading the TRD HOW TO when they had new shocks + springs. when u get new shocks u have to cut the stop but not with the stock shocks
