oky i think my sun visors are to blah for a scion. i was wondering if anyone has done anything to make theirs more pimp?
i have a BOP 2005 xb and the headliner is grey with black interior. any ideas?
i thought about painting them (they are vinyl) or just redoing the whole headliner and putting fabric on them. i was just wondering if anyone else has done anything to theirs.

i was thinking that might be the only real two options i have. i actually have thought about making them wider and longer. they really are too short for me, since i am so short. lol.

they would still be blah.
since you guys mentioned it, i have always wondered, what is the point of tvs in a driver side visor? its not like you can watch and drive safely. i totally forgot a lot of people put those in too.
what is the best fabric to use on the headliner, or will any fabric mount with the right adhesive? i like velvet, but i want a darker headliner, i mean i have kids, who knows what will end up, up there.

I Believe that lint and dust is attracted to velvet like a magnet to metal. I think suede is the best way to go. and it looks awsome
i have a suede headliner. i love it.
as far as visors go, i removed mine when i recovered the headliner. visors? we dont need no stinking visors! theyre worthless anyway...

are you not gonna paint the trim black to match your headliner? (as in the grab handles, and other misc. grey peices)

Anyone know if the post on the visor that "plugs" into the roofliner is different from other toyota visors, or heck even from other vehicles altogether?
If they are interchangeable with a Toyota vehicle:
I'm gonna get a highlander or 4runner visor with the extender built in and replace mine with it. It should give a little extra coverage.
If they are interchangeable with any vehicle:
I'm taking the visor out of my wifes Armada and plugging it in my B2. With it's pull out extender, it should cover the entire length of the driver side window.
If they are NOT interchangeable:
Then I'm buying a spare visor ($52 I believe) and giving it the business end of a dremel tool. Then once it's been cut along the side edge seam, I'll hot glue an extra visor extender inside it, dremel out an opening for the extender, hot glue the two visor sides together and try to find a decent fabric to cover it with.
