ok so. i am a delivery driver for pizza hut. there are many speed bumps in our area but i go over them just as i should. slow and nice. well i got the car in july. maybe around august i noticed when i make a hard left turn while breaking, and durring the stop there is a bump, drive way, or curved down section of the road i hear a clicking noise. yeah i know i have vehicle stability controle but the light doesnt go on when this happens.idk if this issue is related to this:

a while ago. maybe 3 months i was driving threw a neiborhood and my passanger side front wheel was squeeking. the squeeking increased with speed. i called the dealer (it was after hours) and they told me to bring it in next day. but soon after i got off the phone the squeeking stopped.
2 weeks ago i was turning out of a parking lot and missed the drive way a lil bit and went off the curb. (Drive way was very akward) nothing harsh just a lil bump. nothing out of the normal that a car should go threw.
ever since then i feel a wierd vibration. doesnt increas or decrease with speed. i was thinking it was posibly my tire needs to be ballenced. also i have a leaky stem valve and loose psi, i have to fill up about every 2-3 weeks on that tire.

this is where it gets interesting
i was pulling into a drive way in a gated comunity. one who's curb was the same design as the drive way. you know those really low curbs that are mostly rounded and dont change infront of the drive way? well i went up on that turning left and hit it a tiny bit harder then normal. thinking nothing of it i deliverd my pizzas and hopped back in my car

i was driving out of the street and i could hear a crunching noise. i turned off my radio and continued down the street. it was louder and quicker as i gained speed.
thinking i had maybe a long twig stuck in my tire. i pulled over and rubbed down the tire and looked inside. nothing seemed abnormal. i continued driving and called dealership. the answering service picked up. at this time i hit a speed bump and the sound went away???
it was not a pretty sound. sounded kinda like a starbux milk steamer haha.

idk. what do you guys think?
i doubt this is from damage from a pot hole or anything. i have not hit anything on that side. if anything i hit a huge pot hole on the driver side back in july when texas had that freak rain storm. i hope they dont say "well this is damage from a pot hole we wont fix it"

:(

Did the rim start losing air after running over the first curb? Could you have a bent rim?

Is the squeaking noise the brake calipers not releasing all of the way?

Are you still driving it?

And is this happening on your xB2? Do you have any mods done to front end? Ever take the wheel off before?

If it is under warranty, take to the dealer ASAP to avoid further damage.

It sounds like something is in your tire, I had a small nail in my tire that i could not find no matter how hard I tried, took it to the dealership and it they were able to fix it. I didn't even get charged.

i didnt hit a curb. i hit a pot hole on the other side. i stated that the only thing i hit was on the other side. and it was a drive way i went up on. not a curb.

and no. it didnt bend a rim. i have a leaky stem valve that looses 5 lb over 2 weeks.

as far as wheel well. no.
front mods? none at al. havent even taken off the rims.

it does sound alot like a break calliper not releasing......... glad some one brought that up. because i have been having problems with that side and the VSC. it may be very well related since thats teh only wheel/tire i feel act up on any hard breaking turns with bumps in them.

so i took it in for my 10k oil change and told them of the problem. after inspecting it they said they didnt see anything wrong with it, no glazed over rotor or break pads or anything. looked normal.
they told me that the corola has a similar problem where the spring that presses back on the pad to keep it away from the rotor sometimes goes missing or something like that. and that they would order me a whole new break assembly for that front passanger side. rotor, pads, callipers. and such.
:) i love toyota. they take care of you!

my bf had moisture in his xd headlight when he bought the car. they never saw the moisture but orderd him a new headlight and changed it out. thats some good service right there.

I've had my xB since Jun 07. In the last few weeks I noticed passenger side what seems to be in the general area of the dash and front piller. It starts off what sounds like a rubbing, then it changes to sound like metal and plastic rubbing, then a more metallic stress sound. I have attempted to find the source but really have not found anything. The windshield tray does make a lil rubbing noise, but nothing like the metal to plastic sound.
I have not had it checked out yet but anyone else have this issue?

my boyfriends XD makes slight noise in the ac dial area but his is only 5k miles old and is probably just settleing like my xb did. my xb had creeking noise in the driver rear door. went away after about 7k miles and started after about 3k. just turned up the music to ignore it... now the sound is gone.

about your sound. you should take it to scion. they'll take care of you. it may be a loose clip in the dash or even that "weak weld" issue that was floating around. regardless. there not Dodge.... it'll be taken care of

make sure there isnt enny thing sliding under the driver seat becaus i had the same problem but it was becaus the air tank for my train horn slid and hit the yaw sensor witch sinses if the car is sliding to the left or right and will lock up the breaks do to the traction controle and will make a clicking or crunching sound
