I was thinking about trying this out... the only mod on my tC is a CAI by AEM so i do not not know if this will AID my quest in better MPG but dose not hurt to ask ;) ..

so has anyone used this on there tC or any type of car/truck & dose it work with out any mods or with mods ?

everyone I've ever talked to says to avoid using oil additives. Just buy Royal Purple - proven hp gains, with the benefit of higher fuel economy.

yes Royal Purple is the way to go... i was useing Royal Purple in my 1991 22RE pickup the toyota truck was lifted & running 35's & my MPG where around mid 20's when useing Royal Purple...

so yes Royal Purple FTW

yea i def recommend amsoil myself. great stuff. but im all for royal purple too!!! they both are great from experience.

i just did a oil change today on my 2001 Honda CRV & i went with Royal Purple & you can tell that there some power gain & as well as better MPG ;) w00t ill try amsoil next time ;)

i did gain 25more miles on a full tank so yeah works

yea its great. if your already using royal purple i suggest staying with it. i just think amsoil is another good alternative to royal purple both are good but if your using one wouldnt make a dif switching to other unless you really want to. i run amsoil 0w-30 high performance race oil (good shit) in my tc. not cheap shit. prob same as amsoil. besides im a dealer of amsoil so i get it reasonably cheap thats why i go with it.

I prefer Amsoil over Royal Purple, myself.
