Ok well i get paid soon and i either want to get the HID's for my car or the lowering springs. They both cost about the same amount of $ installed so idk which to get 1st. Any suggestions or is there anything else i should consider getting instead of the HID's or springs? Thanks for the help!

If you have projectors then do HIDs but if not, lowering springs. If you're going to do HIDs do it right b/c it's not right to blind oncoming traffic with these "custom" HID setups in housings that aren't made for HID.

HID's are nice, but I would say lowering springs. It really makes your car look better and improves the handling. When anyone asks me what their first mod should be, I always recommend springs.

Get the springs, but when you do eventually get hids there is no need to pay someone to install them. Its easy and if you need help call on one of your local scikos to help

Just like you said, $225 for the HID setup which you could do yourself. And I know that when i got Tein S-techs for mine that my shop got me them for like $165ish shipped. Then the install was just under $200.

$165ish+ just under $200= Around $365.

$225 HID's < $365 Springs

Just something to consider, and like i said thats what it cost me. So for you, it might be different prices whether more or less.

Go with the springs first. If you're going to do HIDs, save up and spend the money to do them the right way. :)

i would say lower the tC with the TRD coil overs or Tein S-Tech ;) those 2 set ups pwn the rest from what i have read on the net...

also i like how some of the H.I.D. set ups are but if you are going to do the H.I.D.'s then save the money & do it write ;)

Lowering springs

no reason to have HIDs to gather attention to a stock height tC. lol

As far as HIDs in the stock housings, all you have to do is adjust the angle of the lamps. You should readjust you headlight angle whenever upgrading your bulbs - different bulb lengths and diameter affect light patterns, so that's why adjustment is necessary. HID bulbs light right at the base of the reflective dome, providing a MUUUCH wider spread. You can modify the bulbs themselves, or you can tilt the headlight down slightly to avoid blinding other drivers.

Worked for me in my 06.

HID's FTW.....you dont have to blind traffic, just angle the lights down which gives more light on the road....lowering springs are expensive, look good, but gotta get cambers and springs....for 08' headlights try TRDsparks.com

i used plug and play hid's on my 06' and they are beautiful, and dont blind traffic, and i didnt need to adjust any.

but i would go springs first, and tein s techs, they are the shit, here's a pic:
