I am starting to get a small but noticable clank in my front right break when breaking slowly. Is anyone else having this? I only have about 2200 miles? What can this be?

Yeah, my rear ones clank when its cold, and braking slowly.

edit: on my 08, not the 06

some more specifics would help do you have aftermarket wheels ,brakes new pads just had and alignment recently hit any good size potholes / bumps did you put in any lowering springs etc.

i have 18x8" ASA JH9 w/ 225/45-18, had it aligned.. no major potholes.

I'm trying to figure out what the wheel size has to do with the brakes clanking? its only at low speeds.. like less than 2 mph when im backing out of my driveway.

hmm over the internet kinda hard to figure out i havent had that problem with my xb or seen any service orders for it so i dont think it to be a across the board problem the reason i asked about the wheels is it its not seated right or is supposed to have hub centric rings and doesnt things like that could cause a clunking you have to think about it with as little miles as you have would something on the vehicle that wasnt changed or touched break (possiable) but less likely

yeah its a wierd thing.. i can make it clank over and over, in cold or normal weather.. i was wondering if i was the only one with this LOL

i have a feeling the brakes are spaced out from the rotor quite a bit, thats what makes them clank. Scared the poop outta me one time i thought the wheel fell off or something.. its pretty loud.

Haven't done anything special to it. I do have the 18" enki rims from factory that's it.

yeah cause im running 18 inch ADR rims and they work fine no clunking just trying to come up with ideas you taken the brakes off yet to see if they a loose or not seated
