If they call it totaled, grab all your stuff that you can take off/out of the car and sell them, unless you're getting another tC. I know as soon as I decide to sell my car, I'm selling all my parts because a different grille or whatever isn't worth anything on trade in or sale.

i still want a tc if they say it is. if they do i will try to buy it back for cheap and fix/replace what i can and use the rest of the insurance money to get my girl a xd or xb

Now-a-days it seems like the smallest amount of damage on our cars, they want to total out. I think that should be able to be fixed. The only issue would be some slight creasing in the door jamb probably. I'm not a body expert though...

I'am very sad to hear that! I have had 2 personal fault accidents in the past with my former car. I had my new 09" tC now for 2 years and couple months so far and I'am glade I haven't caused any bad things to happen! I wish you good luck with your situation!

They shouldn't deem it totaled...atleast I don't think since your airbags didn't deploy..or did they? And if they do fix it make sure you bring it to a good shop...of your choice. And the dude is an idiot for driving without a license and insurance..glad you're alright...a car is replaceable...so I wouldn't worry too much.

I know how that feels last year in september a Ford F-350 super duty riped apart the passenger side of my car.... from the front fender alllll the way to the rear was sliced opened and the passenger side mirror was M.I.A.

Some thing happened like that to me recently...I was side swiped in the middle of the night and who ever did it took off...Id had to be a big truck cause they bent all kinds of stuff under my car..and i had to get alot of body work done....so i know what your going through!
