I just bought a 2011 XB last friday and want to get Rims & Tires for it asap. I really want 18" but i dont want to drop below 45s for the tires. Really want to avoid buying tires often or alot of road noise. Just really like the looks of 18". Anybody own a 2011 and have any input? Thanks!!

if you like 18s then go with an 18, just go with a good tire avoid the real cheap ones and you wont have a lot of noise

Honestly i dont know how wide im gonna run. buying wheels and tires are totally new to me. I had a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder for 8yrs. Always wanted bigger wheels. just never had the cash. so i stuck with normal stock. I just know id really like 18s. but i dont want alot of road noise, feel every bump and/or be buying new tires in a short period of time. Im dont plan on lowering it. Im not a gear head. Im more for Show then Go. Plus im in a wheelchair. So this is the only ride i have to drive. So i need it to be good in rain or snow (even tho we dont get a hole lot of snow in the Hampton Roads, VA area)

an 18x8 with a 215/45/18 will probably do you good, just gotta make sure the tire is good, cheap tires will make the ride worse

Hey Rob, it's lefty.
Why do you check out...www.tirerack.com. You can use thier opps to help you fit your B with the right tires that your looking for. I just ran my B, to see what will it let me do, and you can select from stock to 19" rims to custom fit tires to them for your B. They do offer tire info..like handling-road noise-life of tire-etc... Don't worry about not seeing your model year in thier selection (08 thru 11 are the same platform).
Again Good Luck on your hunt.
Later bro.
