I added a new kill to my list...04 model STi.

Wasn't an official race, but the results were clear. Turning onto highway 94 at mid rivers, he takes off, and I take off behind him - he was messing with me earlier, showing off at a redlight next to me. He took off down 94 and I took off behind him and by the time we were going about 80, I was ahead of him. Had he not turned at the next light, we would have had a more "official" race. I'll take what I got though lol

I guarantee if it was the 1/4, his AWD would take me FTW, but from a slow roll I managed to catch up and pass him. I was impressed with myself a little bit, and this post is purely to brag. lol

I'll add STi right below Corvette and s2000 on my "killed" list. lol

t3/t4 turbo - .63a/r - 57 trim compressor
tial wG
HKS BOV
custom intake
custom charge piping
ATP manifold and downpipe
ATP components (oil lines, fittings, hardware)

stock exhaust with stock injectors and no tune. Car's still fast as hell - just needs a tune for max potential....it's next on the list - right before an intercooler. I need to get on that - tax refunds coming soon.

You need one of those t-shirts that say "I <3 Boost" but replace the <3 with a turbo compressor :D

He's running off the wastegate's set boost. Of course he's running 91/93 octane. You have to when F/I.

7.3psi spring in my wastegate...and I'm running 93 octane.

stock injectors are 370cc.

And my MAF sensor and O2 sensors do all the tuning for now...tax refunds are coming, so I'm getting tuned this spring I swear it. I have waited wayyyy too long.

it was a race to 80mph...no more dangerous than getting on the highway. No traffic dodging involved.

I try to be as responsible as I can when it comes to racing...I stay below 90mph (with few exceptions in the distant past), and if the other driver starts getting reckless and making stupid decisions, then I back off and take a different way home - always. I'm not trying to "win at all costs" - I just play keep up to around 85 and call it quits after that. Never in heavy traffic.

I liked your idea, Nick, so I'm going to have my aunt make me a shirt!

I might change it up and do white text on a black shirt...I don't usually wear white shirts...it's just all I had on my comp.

What do you think?

They make them already. I've seen them before.

Have you checked CafePress?

I actually like this one:

I thought they passed a law in california that if you get caught street racing they have the authority to impound your car and you get an invitation to go watch them crush it at a junkyard?

it's still stupid and instead of your funny little "kill list" your going to have a real one than what are you going to do? it won't be so funny than keep it to the track.

sweet! maybe it will teach people to stop doing it.

i dont approve of street racin much, but 2am stoplight 0-60 race is relatively harmless. but regardless, we are men, and you cant say u dont have an urge to floor it every once in a while. i know its dangerous and shit but its kinda in our dna to 1+ each other by any means necessary, even if that means street racing.

im not condoning it or ne thing, i just think more realistically.

Do you know the actual numbers behind street racing deaths? Did you know that in over 70% of street racing deaths it is self inflicted with no other parties involved?

Everyone here has their own mommy we dont need another one. Just my .02. You have more luck telling people not to drink at all because that might lead to drunk driving before telling people not to street race.

AGREED, plus this is a car forum, yes its not all about building super uber fast cars but thats a good portion of it and if your against that its best to stay in the off topic thread

Only like 1% of street racing deaths are innocent pedestrians or motorists...and they're almost always from people racing in metro areas, or touge races (racing up or down winding mountain roads). Driving 0-80 on a straight pass of highway is hardly dangerous. Like I said - I don't contribute to accidental deaths because I don't drive like a maniac or race when it's absolutely inappropriate. You're preaching to the wrong person.

You must be related to THansenite.

yea i agree straight aways is one thing and is ok in my book but not one to take my car around a curve doing 80+ to prove a point that could kill me or anyone else for that matter. i love to make my car go fast and like that other dude said its in our dna stomp that bitch and go its fun just depends on how ressponsible the driver is and is he paying attention is what gets people hurt or killed. in my book drive like you got a head on your shoulders not like a pissed off teenager even if in some cases you are lol.
