I've added a couple of things to my box. I decided to go in reverse and restockified my front end and finally added a quality hole plug for the rear view wiper. I didn't think I'd like the look of the box without the billet grills but it kind of grew on me - decided I'd keep it.

19" wheel/tire combo and some stereo/boom solution are planned for later this year.

I traded my dirty old foggy Sonar Projectors with a friend. We cleared my new OEM's, opended, cleaned, and resealed the Sonars. I also painted the outside of my new OEM's gloss black to go better with my car. I put my 6K HID's from the Sonars into my foggs and got a matching set of 6K HID's for the new OEM's. All that is left is a set of amber chrome corner bulbs that will be here in 2 to 3 days.

after 4 and a half years, this is first attempt at making a gauge face for the xB. and yes, its supposed to have km/h. i never look at the cluster anyways. thats what a gps and a scangauge II are for. its just for decoration.

The end results of that method look like ass. Would only recommend doing it that way if your using long shaggy material that will cover up the hack job. Glue and tuck is the way to go... :up:

Cutting the whole panel out is not that bad and if you use a dremel tool to run along the ridge on the back where the pieces come together you can do it well......Put regular upholstery material on and it looks great once everything goes back together, just have to take your time and do it right......the trick to getting everything to lay down well is to seam it to fit in the curves from front to back.

Just finished my new mod! It's meant to look like velvet rope you see at fancy restaurants or at a club but it's actually solid wood wrapped with a pad and matching crushed velvet. And the clips are actual chrome clips from the real velvet ropes.

Shipped a set over from Japan and swapped mirror guts/bases around. Then installed a JDM mirror switch to control them.

thanks bro. this was just a test fit. my set will be on by the end of the weekend :mrg:

15x8 XXR 501. offset is +15 F, +0 R. (rears already had 15mm shims installed, so it equals out to 0) riding on 195/50.

i really wanted to have less wheel gap on top, but im already running settled df210s. and this just dropped my overall height another 1/2 to 3/4 inch. i also have to think about my H-brace underneath too. its hard enough not to scrape around here as it is.

only way i can get a more flush stance is to bag it, or get coils. both of those choices include me spending money that i dont have, and removing my lip kit just to stay practical for daily driving. i will not run neg camber plates because i dont care for that look. not to mention uneven tire wear. i think im still gonna roll the rear fenders just to be safe though. any advice for improving the stance is greatly appreciated.

next are the esams, curtains, and then some interior touch ups yo.

see what happenes when you go a year without doing shit because you think you are finally done with the car? you get bored, and start spending money all over again :up:

I added more glow inside my 05 gen1.

Tore out the old tubes and put LED's under dash, in cupholders and in the "oh shit" handles. Also added the LED dome light as well. All blue and it is bright as can be at night. Sorry cellphone pics don't do it justice.

Yeah me too. I have a 1969 Chevy Nova with a 4 inch cowl hood and it looks mean. So I always wanted to see what one would look like on the box. So I looked on the web could not find one so I started to make one. Took me four months to make it and then have the body shop to finished it and that is what I came up with.

Pretty much plug and play just have to flip plug that goes in to ballest upsids down

I kno... But the set they sent me makes absolutely no sence. It has 2 wires, a black and a blue, that feed from the bulb and look like one is supposed to be grounded and the other that would plug into the oem part the plugs into the origional bulb. BUT, i cant find anyway to connect the blue wire to the plugin for the bulb.

I just recently added 17" Motegi SX5 on 205/40Rs to my box. With the Tanabe DF120s it works out to about 3/4" lower than when I was riding on the steels.

the valance is just behind the rear headrests, so it doesnt hit the window. the beads are all acrylic so they dont make much noise at all. :)

Those really flow nice with your car. I would suggest baking those headlights and reseal them right away. Mine fogged up and everyone else I know has had fogging issues.
