There's quite a few in Nicholasville there. I attended Scion Exposed in Ohio last June. It was an awesome show. Hundreds of Scions showed up last year. It will probably be in June, but I haven't found a date for it yet.

It was held at masterson park in lexington. Ill try to find out if and when they're having it this year. Also.... Anyone else going to the car show in georgetown saturday? Its at the flea market/ peddlers mall registration at 9. Only 12 bucks to enter. Me and maybe chris rex are going.

I went to the Georgetown show last year. You'll probably see my old car club out there, Mindgamez. It was a descent show, free breakfast, and even if it wasn't, the food there is good anyway. Pretty much just paid for your trophy tho, that was the only downer. The Midwest Mayhem (Lucky's show) is gonna be the first weekend in August (2nd and 3rd).

I'm lookin forward to that show again. I've done more stuff since then. That was the last show I went to last year. There's also the southern slam session in hopkinsville (hometown) ill find out when that is gonna be this year too. Usually lots of mini trucks with draggin contest and last two days sat and sun. Also have hydraulic contest and db contest. Pretty fun.

I'd like to do a db or spl contest. Just for kicks. I remember your car at Midwest Mayhem last year...weren't you parked in the center grass divider between the walkway and driveway? I don't think I'll be going to that one, but I've already put down my pre-registration for Slammin and Jammin and I'm checking daily for pre-registration to start for HIN here in Nashville. Anybody interested in making the 2 1/2 hour drive for HIN? Me and a couple buddies are showing there.

luckys show was pretty good. def go back to it. slammin n jammin is a must too. R2B, if you see louie ask him about the guys tryin to get in the room last year and ben throwin them out. it was great.

Yeah that was me. That show didn't really have anything going on besides just walking around and lookin. Very unorganized. Maybe it will be better. Who knows. I'm up for slammin and jammin, hin, and havok. Those are always big shows down that way and I go to them every year even if I'm not showin. So ill be there if I'm not working which I probably won't but you never know. What do u want to do on sunday if we meet up? I'd like to see what all u have done to your box. Did you do all your mods yourself? What are you good at? Engine mods? Systems? Wiring? Wheels?

I was thinkin meet at like a Sonic or Tolly Ho or somewhere like that and look at our rides then eat and talk and stuff. Somewhere where we're seen and people can do drive-by drooling. lol

I do the mods that I've done before on past rides. Like my JDM front grille, I ran my 1/0G for my system, I did the prep wiring for my sub enclosure, I plan on glassing my dash on my own, mount and balancing my wheels when they come in, I did my headlights, taillights, and CAI on my own...but stuff like tint, my flipdown, my drop springs. exhaust (welding), I wanted done right the first time, so I didn't touch it. My hands shake alot too, no one's been able to figure out what it is and I've had it since fifth grade. So I'm not very good on stuff that takes precision. I know my stuff though. I know Ohm's law and wiring in series, parallel, or series-parallel. All that good stuff. I just can't physically do it well. lol

Christoph, our HMFIC, lives in Louisville and drives to Lexington for the meets... actually, I think now we have a few people from the ville. It's such an easy drive... just an hour and a half. I have friends in the ville and we visit each other twice a month.

Some members in other chapters have to drive like 3 hours to get to their closest chapter so I'd say an hour and a half is bueno. Plus, in an xB that gets like 80 miles to the gallon... hahahaha :)

Just an off topic note.... the only reason we meet in Richmond is because that's where our sponsor is, otherwise, we would consistently meet in Lexington because we are the Lexington Scikotics. And if we all decided to do a meet in another city (like the Charity Event) then we would do that, too. It all depends on what's happening around the area..

My point is, we're Lexington Scikotics... that's why we try to stay local and tag people in the area.

sucks. the GCHS show is cancelled. there is however a show in downtown stanford on the 17th. i'm thinking of going to it and then going to london on sunday. anybody wanting to go is more than welcome.

found out that Unleashed is only a day and a quarter long. the show is still saturday but on sunday the awards are given out at 10ish and then the show is done. so it looks like its only the stanford show on the 17th for me, maybe.

Unleashed is a great show. I know the guys that does it. Alot of the guys that came this weekend came down on friday and party'd it up, then came to the show saturday then they had a "illegal" drag session. If my xB hadnt been in the shape it was in and i didnt have to Graduate, i would have most def showed. There was only one that showed up for the weekend though and it was from Indiana. BOP and was Bagged.

I know the guys that does Heritage 2k8, they help with Unleashed. Its a really down to earth show. I'll have my xB done before then, So if anyone wants to do a cruise to Whitesburg, we'll try to arrange something. I went last year and there was only one scion and it was a xB. BSP with Gold Outlined Flames and bagged.

Funny you should ask, Dropmob just had a meeting yesterday to decide on a show date for our show.We decided to go head to head with Lucky's show on the same weekend. So the Dropmob show is August 30th, at Qdoba, with live bands, and 15 specialty trophies, and a special prize for Best Of Show. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, you know how Lucky's show is $5 to park, $10 for spectators, and $25 to show?


....our show is free. For registration as well as spectators. And its at night so you're not inthe scorching sun all day like last year.


Aug. 30th, Qdoba Mexican Grill in Hamburg (where it was 2 years ago), free.





Aside from that, I'm also going to Havoc on August 2-3 in Bowling Green, and ITB in Indianapolis on August 15th-17th. Won't be showing at either but will be driving up and driving through on the Saturdays and giving out flyers and walking around a bit and driving laps. Also will be going to the Mindgamez Show at the Woodford County Park on August 17th and will be showing there.

hopefully a bunch of people should be....we were trying to decide whether we wanted to do it on that day or if we wanted to do it September 20th, then big Larry (bagged blue and pewter 300 in Rollerz Only) rolled up trying to make ammends between them and Dropmob and for the most part they have. well i had fun today. made it out to drop mobs show. hung out with chris for awhile, ate some tacos, played some music loud, and got a murdered out trophy. big :up: to drop mob for a good time. :bow: i also saw something that i didnt know was possible. i saw fish run. he was pretty impressive.

YEAH. you would've had Best Import if you had come back out!! The prez wouldn't let us give a trophy to someone who was there but bounced early....we gave it to a 2000 Civic coupe with a turbo'd B20. It was nice, but I didn't see it as show worthy, I saw it as a kickass track car. YOURS is show worthy. :hunter0cj:

Anyway, I actually didn't really do you a solid. Basically, I was wanting you, Bump was wanting that Burban with the OG ported and glassed 6 15s, he wouldn't budge, so I gave in. But then, when we tallied it up, the dude that owned that Burban and the C10 (he owned both) was gonna come out with like 4 trophies. Jeremy (blue Cutty that was burnt to the ground 2 years ago) said we couldn't do that, and then HE mentioned your car for best stereo, so Bump gave in due to 2 against 1. Well crap. Oh well, I had fun while I was there, and after I left too. Went out and eat then went to Regatta and hung out on the patio. Went back out to Mayhem today for awards. Placed 3rd in Scion/Toyota class. Got beat by a clean black xb with vinyl graphics and ICE from Ohio which took 2nd. And that chop topped tC from southern KY took 1st.

That was the most hilarious one he took. I was standing right there when Jeremy walks up and says "BUMP! Turn your head to the side!" Bump rolls his eyes and turns his head, then for LITERALLY 45 seconds or longer, Jeremy's goin "hold it....hang on....almost there....just a second....just about got it...." LOL

Actually, I may not be able to make it to the show this Sunday. This is the last weekend we'll be able to go to the lake.
