So I'm painting my interior this weekend. I ran into a problem though. The plastic is in three parts. The top part (around the vents) came off fine. For the life of me I can't get the part around the dials off, same with the part around the shifter. Does anyone know how to take these off??? I'd really like to get these done but no one seems to know how to get them off.

If anyone knows for certain how to get these out, I'd really appreciate some help!!!

*Side note - The dials don't screw off, I can't find any other screws that seem to screw in, and it feels like it's more than clamped in.

Thanks!

Sparks has several installation manuals on their site. This one on installing interior lighting might show you what you need. http://www.trdsparks.com/install/PTS21-52085inst.pdf If not, you may find something that will help.

One thing that has worked for me is to just go ask a pro. Stop by a garage or body shop and tell them you've got a DIY project and would like to ask them a question if they're not too busy. It's been my experience that ppl are basically pretty nice and don't mind helping someone if they can. :pilot:
