basicly i want my car to handle stiff with no body roll
now for some semi noob questions...(like all my others)
Tanabe DF210's:
will i bottom out everywhere i go just about?
i have riden in a xB and a xA with them but as a driver how good or bad is the ride? i rode shotgun once in stephens xA and it was like a gocart
what else will i need like strut bar etc to have a really good stiff ride?
or the Eibach Sportline Kit?
both are a 2" drop

if you want no body roll you just can't stop with springs. You also need front and rear sway bars. The thicker they are the less roll you will have.
as for the springs, if your lower your car... you will bottom out for time to time. It is something you will have to come to terms with. you won't bottom out everywhere but there will be parking lots, and drive ways you might not be able to pull in, or speed bumps you won't make it over.

yeah i am goin to buy a strut bar, front and rear sway bars, a h brace, etc but for now only springs. a speed bump is 4" high and i am reducing the ground clearance of my car to about 3.75" so its gonna be really close at times. but for the money should i go for the Tanabe or the Eibach? and which would perform better.

Body sway and overall handling vary from car to car and how you drive it, so there is really no "absolute" answer.:book: On my xA I could feel absolutely no difference with the addition of the front strut bar. In fact, I consider it and my CAI the biggest waste of money I have ever spent on a car (other than maybe fuzzy dice). There was, however, a very, very noticable difference when I added TDR springs. Then the fun really began!! But to me, the greatest improvement seemed to come with the addition of the rear swaybar. IMO, I would spend the strut bar $ on upgrading your tires if you are planning on a lot of ridge running, canyon crusing or autocross. These are just my observations and based on my driving style and maxmizing my car for hooning around on remote, twistie, country roads with little city or interstate driving. Good luck!

Ways to reduce body roll:
*Springs. Stiffer the better
*properly matched Struts (might need to spend some bucks here. Tokico D-spec is a great adjustable strut)
*Rear sway bar
*Front sway bar upgrade
*sway bar end links
*H brace
*Strut tower bars
*wider tires
But springs are a great start!

Bud, just save up for some Ksport coilovers, they're stiff as shit, and height adjustable if you get scared of driving as low as us big boys

This is exactly what i did with my tC. I put some TRD coilovers, Hotchkis sway bars, and only a TRD front strut brace for now but working to get a rear. My ride quality is great.....a little rough at times, but i really haven't had any problems with bottoming out. Plus, unlike springs alone, i can control the ride height so i can road test and find out a good drop without having to scrap on everything. It'll take some money, but to me it was worth every penny.
