Here is the letter we are using for Pandemonium. I thought I'd share it with everyone and then take out the SHOW specifics and let you all fill in the blanks for your own shows. I hope this help in securing sponsors for whatever show you may be putting on.

Dear Friends,

My name is Andrew Snell. I’m a member and chapter leader of a Nationwide Scion car club called Scikotics. I’m writing to you on behalf of our car show committee, about an upcoming car show that we are in the process of planning for August 2010, called Pandemonium 2010. This car show will be for all Scion car owners, and will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) through the combined effort of our club and the Reno Fire Department.

MDA is the non-profit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases by funding worldwide research. The Association also provides comprehensive health care and support services, advocacy and education. MDA combats neuromuscular diseases through programs of worldwide research, comprehensive medical and support services, and far-reaching professional and public health education. With national headquarters in Tucson, MDA has more than 200 offices across the country, sponsors more than 200 hospital-affiliated clinics and supports more than 330 research projects around the world.

MDA supports more research on neuromuscular diseases than any other private-sector organization in the world. MDA scientists are in the forefront of gene therapy research and have uncovered the genetic defects responsible for several forms of muscular dystrophy, Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a form of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease), childhood spinal muscular atrophy and several other neuromuscular conditions.

Regarding Pandemonium 2010, this car show will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2010, at the Ramada Hotel and Casino in Reno, NV. We are expecting over 100 Scion owners to compete in this event. We will also be having a slot tournament, a poker walk, 50/50 and regular raffle ticket sales, and possibly a silent auction to help raise money for MDA.

But, to make this event successful we need your help, and would be most grateful for any support you can provide. We need door prizes for the regular raffle and items to fill goodie bags. We also have three (3) levels of event sponsorship options available:

Gold: $100.00 - A vendor spot at the event; your company logo on t-shirts, banners, and
fliers; and your company sponsors a trophy class.

Silver: $75.00 - A vendor spot at the event; and your company logo on t-shirts, banners, and fliers.

Bronze: $50.00 - A vendor spot at the event.

Please send payment via PayPal to: *REMOVED PAYPAL ADDY*

We will add your name to the t-shirts, banners, and fliers in appreciation for donations with a value of $75.00 or more, even if you don’t want to set up a vendor booth at the event. If interested, please respond quickly, as the deadline for having your company logo included on the t-shirts, banners, and fliers is July 15, 2010. Your company logo must be in .JPEG, .PSD, or .EPS format, and at least 150dpi (300dpi preferred)..
