In the next few weeks im going to install my amp and speakers in my 09 xB, I have a Boston Acoustics GT-50 ( very large amplifier) anyone know it would be a good place to mount it... I also got Kicker amp kit , and Rockford Fosgate Punch components and getting 6 1/2 rears. I was thinking of mounting it under rear seats but how? or making a nice amp housing in the trunk but its going to be my first audio install.

How large is very large?? And it also up to you how you wanna do it. Do you want to hide your amps or show them off. My personally (when I get around to doing it) I'm going to build a custom amp rack that'll attach to my back seats.

Hide it on the headliner. No one will see it there and you have plenty of room! haa.

Jk jk.

Just measure around see where you have the room. There have been people that has done stealth installs and basically made a custom amp rack behind a panel or something. Also remember how much power it'll be pushing and give it adequate air space for cooling.

Yeah, I have no idea where, i guess its going to have to be in the back for the time being, i might end up getting a smaller amp in coming months...
