ok i have a new A Frame front passenger side of a Scion xA. because i bent the factor stock one...
anyway my question is how hard is it to replace? seeing how i got the part at discount and i dont not have the money to pay someone to do it.
i just need to know how hard it is to install. how long should it take at estimate?
THANK YOU EVERYONE

dude if you've not done that before you might want to check a few smaller shops and see what they'd charge you, the small shops generally do the best work and are honest about pricing

closer to LR
now by the A-Frame your talking about the strut tower and all of that right? otherwise if your talking about the a-arm then thats not so bad, but if its the strut tower, it will need to drilled out and the new peice welded in, thats why I said you need to take it somewhere, because its a big safety issue if its not put back in correctly, and if you have go through inspection(which tx does) then it most likely won't pass if done yourself and your not certified

i at first thought the strut was fucked as well but no, the A frame bent BAD and i hit it HARD! so the cv joint and the stabalizor (sp?) where rubbing. knocked off my alignment by a effin lot and i need to get a 4 wheel alignment done.
its a piece the bolts under the passenger floor board and the under the engine bay. i will be completely honest if someone told me to rebuilt a engine thats easy to me but i dont know shit about anything else lol...

sounds like its the engine cradle, if its that then basicly your removing the engine and moving it and everything to the new cradle, is it a big peice, size of the front end of the car, or a small part that the hub mounts to?

What did you do to bend your A arm? I have an 07 tC and while doing a U-Turn saturday night, I turned too sharp and went right over the curb and now I think something is jacked up on mine.

This part sounds like the lower control arm. The piece that holds the bottom ball joint? If that is the part it should be easy to swap them out and get it re aligned.

I found out what I did to mine when I went over the curb. The spring in the back rotated around and now that side sits 1/2" higher in the back.
