you wanting to paint the actual metal cover....or just the plastic engine cover ?
Cause the engine cover is easy and you can use rattlecan...its just all about the prep work on if the paint stays

ANy hi-temp paint will work for the engine cover.
Actual valve cover, powdercoating would be the best option.

yeah sorry i was talking about the plastic engine cover..but thanks for both techniques haha im going to use a high temp paint..
duplicolor has prep wipes that i used for my interior parts is that sufficient for the engine cover?
You may want to lightly scuff the engine cover a little before you use the duplicolor wipe. The paint will stick and hold better to the engine cover

also use Adhesion Promoter on plastic, will stick even better
