Hey guys. I recently picked up some flexible led strips from Oznium to use as my underglow. I had the tubes before but ended breaking the side ones because of a speed bump and my car is lowered. I'd figure the led strips are small and flexible so breaking them wouldn't be such a big issue. After driving to Asylum and back we noticed that my strips were hanging a big and you can see them if you stood far away from the car sagging. It did not look good. I was contemplating on how to fix this. And today I've done it !
I went out to Lowes and pick up some really small metal rods. They are about $4 for a 3foot strip or so. I need 2 3foot strips for each side and just one 4foot strip for the front and back.

Heres what it looks like.
I than took some flat metal braces and screwed those into the under body and zip tied the poles to that.

Here is a long shot of the side ones. I used a ton of zip ties every few spaces so there would be no sagging at all. The flexible led strips have a little space where the zip tie can fit snug in between each led light.

And here is a little further back shot and you can't even see them. There was a nice little notch on the sides that I hide them up against so they don't hang down at all now. I will post some photos of it with the lights on later. For some reason though the side ones are a different shade of white than the front and back ones. Not sure if its because they are longer strips. The front and back are more of a cool white, and the sides are like a regular white. You'll see what I mean when I post the pictures.
But this is a great way to stabilize your led strips if you want to use them for your underglow.
