Hey everyone. I live in Vacaville and have recently put some TRD coilovers on my 08' tC. I bought a Progressive front/rear camber kit and was wondering if anyone in the 707 could help me align this car correctly. I'd rather stay away from dealerships or tune shops b/c they'll charge me a shit load. Anyone have any advice, tips, or connections? Any help would be great guys. Oh...and when i put those coilovers on, i'm having a rattling in the back. I've checked the sway bar and its tight and there's no slack in the springs. Any guesses? Thanks again.

You really dont need the camber kit for a trd drop.

BUt if you must... just install it then take it to a tire shop to get aligned... To align a car manualy is just a pain in the butt and im sure most people dont have the tools so the other way is by string and its just not worth doing it, when you can pay $80 for a good alignment.

But an alignment really isnt needed at this time!

No alignment needed on a coilover drop?? I believe i've dropped it almost 2" and i can see all the tires cambered in now. Plus the car feels like the fronts are toed out b/c the steering feelings loose now. Does that sound about right?

Toed out? By just replacing the struts and not messing with the arms or lengthing stuff your toe should not be off.

I was on tein ss-p coilovers spun all the way down in the front.

I used my own top mounts and ran -2 degrees.

Unless you unbolted or messed with somthing else toe should not be off.

If the steering feels lose check your sway bars too. Just go get an alignment that has a lifetime warranty (about 160 bucks at sears) check out the specs... Then if its all wacked out put the camber pieces in and go and get it redone.

and i didn't touch any of the steer bars during install of the coilovers. so those are still where the stock was set at.

does anyone know i good camber to set my wheels at? I dont want to affect the tire wear too much, but want a little angle for the turns.
