Event Details
Saturday, July 17, 2010

O’Reilly Raceway Park, Indianapolis, IN
8:00 am - Noon, Event Registration

Get your motor running early — Owner drag (costumes optional) racing starts at 9:00 am! Once you submit your RSVP on-line, you will have access to the Scion Waiver Form. Simply fill it out and present it when you enter. Long line crisis is successfully averted!
Your Registration Packet will contain your Event Pass, Parking Pass, Food / Drink Voucher, Event Map, and a SCION Surprise (we’re not telling!).

9:00 am - Noon, Owner Drag Racing

Heavy right feet welcome! Please join us for drag racing from 9:00 am to noon on the historic ORP drag strip. We’ll kick it off with time trial runs and then move into the competition at 11:00 am. Scion models will compete against one another for the lowest Elapsed Time (ET). At 11:30 am, the two Scions with the lowest ET’s by model will return for a final run-off to crown an overall winner in each class (xA, Gen 1 xB, Gen 2 xB, tC & xD). Prizes will be awarded to each class winner and the overall lowest ET and top speed. Show us what your Scion can do on the quarter-mile strip!
You must be 18 years of age or older to participate. Safety helmets are not required with a non-modified Scion, you can always elect to bring your own if you see fit.

10:00 am - 11:00 am Drift Experience with Ken Gushi (Group One)

This is your opportunity to get in the car with Ken Gushi and experience the rush of drifting the RS*R tC. Twelve lucky entrants will be randomly selected for this ride-along experience. Participants must be 200 lbs. or less to qualify due to the vehicles design. It is difficult to enter and exit the tC. The winners will be split into two groups. Group one will need to be trackside from 10am - 11am. Group two will need to be trackside from 4pm - 5pm.
Noon - 1:00 pm, Lunch

Lunch will be catered by Center Plate, which does all the VIP catering for O'Reilly Raceway Park events.
Noon - 2:00 pm, Car Show

When you look good, you feel good.

1:00 pm - Dusk, VP Fuels E.T. Bracket Racing

ORP's drag strip will host E.T. Bracket Racing in conjunction with Scion Exposed. E.T. Bracket racing is the most popular form of drag racing where two cars of varying performance potentials can race on a potentially even basis. The anticipated elapsed times (E.T.) for each vehicle are compared, and the slower car receives a head start equal to the difference of the two. This form of racing allows for virtually any two cars to be paired in a competitive drag race. Check this racing out during the down time from your own racing schedule!

2:30 pm - 4:00 pm, Oval Laps

Not to be confused with Ovaltine. Experience the thrill of hot laps with your fellow Scion owners. Top speed will be 65 MPH as you follow the Scion tC pace car. See how your Scion handles on the banks of this oval track. It will be an experience to remember from 2:30 to 4:00 pm.
You must be 18 years of age or older to participate. Safety helmets are not required with a non-modified Scion, you can always elect to bring your own if you see fit.

3:00 pm - 4:00 pm Drift Experience with Ken Gushi (Group Two)

Group two will need to be trackside from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
4:00 pm - 5:30 pm, Autocross

Turn left, right turn, quicker! Go, Go, Go. See how your Scion navigates the ORP designed course. This is where your driving skills will shine with plenty of hairpin turns. Navigating through the cones will surely put your concentration and brakes to the test from 4:00 - 5:30 pm.
You must be 18 years of age or older to participate. Safety helmets are required. The venue will have a limited supply for your use. You can elect to bring your own.

6:00 pm, Awards

Your chance to thank the Academy. Tux optional. Awards will be presented in the dining tent after the day's activities have concluded. Which ones will you be in the running for? Overnight camping will be available for everyone! Pitch a tent at Camp SCION!

I cannot wait for this day to come. I registered last week for it. Got my hotel booked already. This is going to be a Bad A$$ event. What can be better than this, free car show, drag racing, oval track, auto cross, and they give you free food and free stuff.

id like to, the camping part really appealed to me. i drive a box, not really interested in racing. but i remember being bummed last year after i learned about the CP part of Exposed so i signed up this year. a 12 hour drive is a bit much for me, for a car show. im sure you guys will have a blast!
