I did it in a cavalier and i would run a ODD gauge or maybe 2 gauge. just run power and ground all the way up to the front where the wires were. you would have to mount the battery in the back of the car. heres a link to how someone did it on a subaru wrx for an idea of what you may want to do.

when you say "ODD" do you mean ought gauge wire? (as in 0 gauge)

I do not know of anyone to relocate the battery to the rear. We have added batterys to the rear of the car and added inverters. But if you are thinking of doing this, I would look up www.creativewerksinc.com (http://www.creativewerksinc.com) for a Optima battery mount. You can mount it anywhere (even upsidedown) with this.
