This morning I tired to start my car, and when I turned the key, all I got was a rapid clicking sound. All of my dash lights and headlights still came on, so I don't think it's the battery. Is it maybe ignition, or alternator??

It's the battery. Not enough juice in the battery to start the car.
I know this - it's happened to me way too much.

After this one dies on me, I'll be doing that. I'm on my 3rd battery already. Each time it's gotten warranty replaced.

I don't blame you ^^, although the optima is a great battery, you can't beat warranty replacement!

i used to work for auto zone...so it could be your battery...the way you check if its your alternator is if the new battery drains as well....or you could always take the alternator out and get that tested...we would get alot of people that had that problem...

if you going to get the Optima battery, get the Red Top, It is faster charging and discharging rate than Yellow Top.

They tested my alternator - there's nothing wrong with it.

If that's the case go to the dealership and have them replace the battery under warranty. IT shouldn't go bad that quickly.
