Ok my Seattle SCIKOTICS peeps, no posting being done here for the past 7 days. I hope everyone is doing ok. Matters not who post, just somebody, anybody, please post up and tell the rest of us what's happening. :shock: :sorry:

The HMFIC had to take a second job.
The VMFIC?.......no idea, he said he would not let the chapter die without a fight. But he went from being the biggest postwhore on the site to not posting at all.

There was a few new guys from that area that joined and posted a bit but I havent seen them in quite a few days..

Little problems are affecting you all, hope there's a turn around soon. For the mean time, keep posting so that we know you are still around. You might be without your MFIC, but that doesn't mean you can't get things going and it sure doesn't mean you can't post up.

ehh...i just decided to stick with my scion driven girls. each event that mocasion and i attended, there were NO scikotics so its kinda hard being apart of something that doesnt really exist or wanna exist. you know? :/

It takes people supporting it. -- it doesn't just happen by itself. Obviously everyone is involved in other things or clubs.

I guess it depends on how you look at it. I see it as there being at least two Scikotics at those events, you and Mocascion.

But, I understand, I knew this was going to happen. You can't have a club where only one or two people are holding it together, because when they leave (or get busy) it falls apart. There just weren't enough dedicated people in that chapter and the people we thought were dedicated (or who told us they were) weren't.

Looks like it to me. They are dropping off one by one and the one person who said he wouldn't let the chapter go down without a fight seems to have bailed.


Why would anyone want to be in a chapter with no activity and no leadership? Especially when there is another club in the area that has both, even if they do charge $40?

Why would you wanna belong to a club that you have to pay to belong IMO thats stupid. I would rather belong to a club like this that is laid back and real chill. Every gets along and there arent any problems, but hey I guess not everybody thinks like that..

The real sad thing about it, is that I really believed that Sheep would attempt to make the Seattle chapter not just get up and going, but also grow in numbers. I really don't want to loose this chapter, but if no one want to keep it alive, then lets put it to sleep and whoever is left and want to be Scikotics, (just a thought) they can go to the Members @ Large and live there until something happens.
What you think Jon? I've got twelve members there that don't have homes.

Benilda, you once posted of this before, but I have a feeling that you too did not really want to be a member. I am not knocking on you for removing yourself from our club, but you also had a chance to do something about it way back then. I am a sad man when we loose a member, but it's worse when we loose a chapter, at this point I can only hope the second doesn't come to pass.
I am sure Jon will accept your resignation, but again I wish one of you would of taken the bull by the horns and kept the Seattle Chapter up.
