i just installed a stage 5 competition clutch. yes, it is very different from the stock clutch but i am not taking it back apart so ill just get used to it.

it shifts fine under normal conditions, however when i get on the gas and try to shift faster, it grinds and kicks back at me. it didnt used to do this. what can i do to correct this?
my friend told me that the cable are adjustable, but he didnt know how to do it. it mainly second and third that have this issue, although i havent really tried a hard shift into 4th or 5th yet, but i can assume that this behavior will carry throughout all 5 gears.

I assume you replaced the throwout bearing when you replaced the clutch?

yes, new throw out bearing. there is also a high pitched "squeel" kinda sound. when i push the clutch in, it goes away. any ideas on that?

sound like as much as you dont want to your going to have to take it apart, i changed the clutch on mine from to stage 3 by the way it didnt last me more then 6 months on regular daily driving, so stage 5 im not going to guess. dont worry about take it apart after you do it once the next time isnt so hard. You know what to do and do it faster. but yeah i dont remember having noises just a higher clutch release do to the new flywheel. and nothing else.

Sounds like the release bearing could be messed up with respect to the squealing. :Banane08:

The pedal sounds like it should be adjusted to let the clutch engage better. There is a rod on the back of the pedal.....

Yeah it sounds like you need to pull it back apart. If the squeeking goes away when you push in the clutch you likely have a screwed up throw out bearing.
