so i was putting my engin cover back on yesterday and i noticed that when i was screwing it back down...it just kept on turning on both sides so i took it back off and the right screw had completly came unsoldered or whatever and is now screwed down into the block and the left side has potential to do the same but i took it off just incase it didnt
how can i get that screw out?...so i have to go to the dealership or is there a tool small engouh that will fit around the top so i can get it out Finger Tap
also...is it really necessary to have that cover on?

uh ... well we answered the question we knew .... we obviously don't know the answer to the other or we would have tossed that out there too ... all the same, you're welcome..
if you want my best stab at it I'd say needle nose plyers, but I'm giong to assume you took that into account and its set too low to get the plyers on it.

try drilling a little hole in it, taping that and then screwing something in that to get it out... long process but should work

yea its pretty down in there
i was wondering if i could just unbolt the top of the block off...uplug all the wires and unscrew every bolt and just try and get it out that way.....or is that asking for more problems?

Weld a piece of metal to it, and put a bend in the top of the metal like a bent wrench. . .. otherwise try screw extractors. . . you can get them at sears/lowes/meards or whereever

damn, the drilling and welding ideas are damn creative. tho, given my skills, I'd lean more toward the drilling method. my luck I'd weld the damn thing on for good
