My car's only a week old, so the rear xD came off really easy, there was no residue to deal with. Just heat it up with the hair dryer for about 30 seconds, make sure to move back and forth so you don't run the risk of bubbling up the paint and then use the floss to get it going. All of the glue came off with the badge.
I've got a friend in Japan looking into getting some IST front and rear emblems, poor dude's in the hospital after getting eye surgery so I have to wait another week before he can hunt them down for me. This is officially my wife's car so I can't take off the emblem unless I have something to replace them with.

What about the Scion badge on the back? Any holes behind it?

:ban:I'd be real careful about this. Simple logic says if it worked, all cars would have it. These scams pop up from time to time. My favorite was the toilet paper oil filter in the 70s!

Simple logic says if it takes $ away from the petrolium industry they would fight it tooth and nail, I have seen it in action. Water is cheap, gas is not. Please explain why my 1995 civic got 42 MPG for the 70,000 miles I had that car, the few times I took it on long trips I hit 50 MPG. New civics cant come close to those numbers. This technology is simple, yet effective. Ban my post? You must work for the industry, why did the Army contract the patent holder to develope a hybrid humvee that will run off water or gas? If it works for the military, it can work for everyone.

No one is trying to ban your post. I've seen BS scams like this in the back of Poplar Mechanics since the 60s and never has 1 panned out. But, hey, it's your money. By all means share your information with the rest of us.:D

Its no really a scam though, the system does work, one of the metalworkers at my job fabbed up his entire kit for it. It just depends on how you set it up and the QUALITY AND EFFORT you put into it. It might not double your MPG, but it will increase it substantially...
This technology has beed around since the late 50s/early 60s, Shell Oil Company actually owns a patent for the system's predecessor. The reason you don't see this on every car is just like the other guy said, it would KILL the petrol industry! In case no one here has noticed, the price of crude oil and gasoline affect EVERYTHING! People don't vacation half as much because of the price of gas has increased the price of everything from basic travel to food and lodging. Usually when a gas-saving technology comes out it gets uh... "bought" by a big oil company to protect their monetary interest.
And on that note... I work for Toyota and can tell you first hand that hybrid technology is A LOT farther than what we have here in the states. Not to mention the newest tech that Toyota has can get a large SUV to surpass 60 MPG and never have to be plugged into a wall...
Oil runs the world guys...
