custom center consoles in "the toaster"/ shorten AT shifter??

I am in the process of designing and building a custom center console for my Xb its an 05 and the wolders up and my hole factory set up blows. I'm lookin to bring my cup holders up and my shifter down if possible its an AT. If i figure it out Ill post it up but I dont really mind removing the factory ashtray and storage compartment but the biggest issue is the lack of a armrest and center console. I already removed the e-brake so theat isnt a concern but if any of you have any links suggestions or pics let me know and post em up for all to see...

The bb center oven has cup holders in it.

and you can buy the arm rest add on from ebay, or a boomerang arm rest.

I think if you shorten the shifter your going to have a hard time reaching it. I know I some times and im only 5ft7in. lol.

Also if you switch shifters, your going to have to put in a overdrive switch (if you have one).

But I am all for custom!
