I am new to the tuner scene with the purchase of a 2005 Scion xB, manual transmission, and thunder cloud paint. I am planing to build this car on a small budget, specifically $5,000. My overall goal is for the xB to be fun to drive with the added benefit of style for shows. I need some ideas of what I can do for this project. Anything will help.
P.S. The xB already has (1) axle-back exhaust, (2) TRD lowering Springs, (3) debadged, (4) leather steering wheel (black and grey), (5) sueded pillars, headliner, door panels, visors, and hatch, (6) and 3 Glowshift gauges on the a-pillar pod, water temp adapter, and oil temp adapter.

a nice set of wheels (edgeracing.com has some good deals)
maybe some leather interrior
cold air intake
dc sports header
maybe a short shifter
that alone will keep you under 3000

Leather interior, new wheels and some different lowering springs......most go with the Tanabe df210's.

do you want some strobes in all 4 corners? One of the best mods I ever did. I love them! Got a extra set...

I love strobes in the headlights.
Why not put in a train horn?

If you love strobes then you would love my car. Got them in the headlights, fog lights, tail lights, one in each corner of my sub wall(where the backseat used to be) and 2 in the back hatch area. With them all on at night I can't even look at my car for more than 5 seconds.LOL And I found some dual horns that I swapped out. 10in. and a 8in. dual horn. It works well!
Get some underbody lights, suede or leater interior would be nice, rims and wheels to start with. Killerglasss!!!

I recently got a train horn to install on the box.
Haven't had time to get it on yet, but I can't wait.
