Just recently i have been deciding on gettin an exhaust for my ride .. but not sure which one i want .. Injen seems pretty cool to get and it sounded all right .. but lots of people have it .. now skunk 2 i havent seen anyone have that one but someone told me it wasnt that great of a brand .. is this tru?

Strup is kinda new too.... bottom line is....companies manufacture these products in order to sell as many as possible....so I think they made a couple of skunk exhaust systems and eventually people will have them. Going custom is the only way to lock in something that has any possibility of being different. The dual exhuast thing is kind of rare to see because that involves bumper modification.
When modding.... as you play with CAI, Headers, S-Pipe, Mid Pipe, and exhaust....the car will get louder and louder....probably raspy too. Just get something that sounds good because you are definitely gonna hear enough of it... might as well be something you enjoy hearing.
Plus, most of the time people aren't leaning down looking under your car to see what exhaust you have. Most of my Orlando crew doesn't know what exhaust I have. They would have to put their face by the exhaust tip to see that I have a strup exhaust because the label is under the bumper. Standing away from my car it looks like it is a Borla or a Tanabe.
But if being original is what you enjoy....get something custom that comes up like smoke stacks on a semi. I don't think I have seen that yet.

Theres a ton of exhaust companies out there you just have to find one that you really like...Agency has a really nice sounding as well as it looks really nice too, I have the HKS and I love mine wouldn't go with anything else. If you run a header your gonna have rasp regardless, but if your really trying not to be "like other people" go custom!!!

Honestly..... Neither.....
Go get a custom exhaust from your local muffler shop with a magnaflow or somthing... For the same price you can get a full exhaust system compared to doing the more expensive axle backs...:wohow:

personally i like tsudo but i know someones always got something to say about tsudo. but skunk2 is BA i love it. seen it on two tcs first hand and they sound really awesome. but it depends on what kind of tone your looking for, low and no rasp or a higher tone with some ricer rasp just depends

On my first Tc I had a custom magnaflow 2.5 and its was really deep, not ricey...On my new Tc I have the HKS and i had it done from the cat back and its really nice!!! :dance:

they price match everything basically and knock off a few bucks. so if you find something really cheap but dont trust that website and would feel more comfortable ordering from a scikotics member they will match that price and depending on what it is they can knock off a few bucks. i got tein springs same day for 128.00 even. brand new!

yea ima get the hotchkis kit with the sways and springs and combine that with my strut tower bar and im done with suspension. then ima start saving up for greddy turbo kit and spend about 5 on ems and kit.

yea im going for show and performance. but yea i was thinking about getting those two ive seen them on a friends car and they drop it like a motherf*cker. but yea prob all hotchkis suspension buy a midpipe and im done with everything i wanted to get except for a turbo then i will save up for that. ive done every lil tweak and bolt on i could do except for pulleys and header and im not gonna do pulley for warranty reasons but will do when i get turbo kit and headers would be a waste of money so ya know.

i got the pulleys but i kept my stockies in case of needing to go back to the dealership
i got a zpi crank, r1 wurks alterantor and a custom water pump pulley. awesome...

yeah, you really feel it once you all three pulleys.
the alternator was a bitch the others not at all.
we had to take the alternator off and put the alternator pulley on.
and really it just frees up horsepower already there... it doesn't necessarily earn you horsepower. you free up close to like 10-15 pounds of extra weight by getting light weight pulleys, in essence you are gaining about 10-15 horsepower:book: i am prett sure you can find out if you can get more i know NST has some pretty sweet pulley kits but you have to change the belt size as well.

yea ill look into nst my friend told me they have like a three pack special or something like that for the tc for a damn good price if u buy them all together and he can help me with the install i know he knows how to do it so that hopefully wouldnt be a problem. but yea im pretty happy of the power that ive gotten out of my car and would love to have more just kinda broke right now lol. i should def get a midpipe though huh just stock from header all the way back to a tsudo axel back. i would def get some power if i bought a midpipe too huh? o yea and gonna get a s pipe too.

first of all you dont wanna elminate your luxury accesories and he stated above that that should give you a 10-15 hp increase...wishful thinking but not the case...you will def feel greater throttle response and i feel it high in the powerband when im going around 110....like it doesnt lag as much i guess

well according to the website the lightweight is yes of course self explainitory its lightwiehgt and weighs a shit load less then oem factory pulley. underdrive pulley gives the crank more power and less but just enough to operate the "luxury pulleys" alternator, power steering, etc. the over drive pulleys are for like the supercharger for more boost and the alternator for more power juice just go here and check it out.

good choice but if u want to save a hundred bucks go to speed-element.com and get those headers they are the same exact thing as the weapon-r and its a lot cheaper and free shipping. friend of mine had them u cant tell the dif between the two and they look awesome!!!

Well i made the forum .. and it was about skunk 2 or injen exhaust and everyone went off topic .. lol .. so i figured i just let ya know i made my decision ..lol.. But yea i would go to that site but i have a sponsership and i get what i want and they reimburse me for what i paid for it!

yea i understand that and trust me it will be loud even with the resonator but without it its going to be really raspy. now maybe the skunk2 resonator wont let it do that but ya never know im not going to assume anything. but go for it def power gain. just def post pics of how it looks and clips of how it sounds. but just letting you know prepare for the rasp.

well i dont know too much about pulleys i dont own one but crank 101 does and he said he likes it. he said he felt a power increase. but yea the agency power one would be great supposed to be a lot lighter than the oem pulley. all i can say is get it put it on and let us know what u think. the only down side is its agency power... pricey.

yea and the aero25 is a good one to get ive seen it on a car and what it can do and it def helps out. see a friend of mine ran the tsudo headers (weapon r look alikes) wit the stock midpipe with 2nd cat and stock resonator and he had the trd axel back. still rasped like a mother f*cker. so he got an aero25 and put it in between the 2nd cat and the stocker resonator like in a train line and it fit perfectly there and it got rid of that nasty ol rasp and it sounds so much better. so yea 2 resonators is most likely the way to go... thats what im doing.

Everyone uses Injen because they are the best. Injen makes the best cold air intakes and exhausts on the market. If you want to be diffrent get a custom paint job if you want aftermarket parts that improve your car and will work go with Injen.

dude all afermarket upgrades work. exhaust is an exhaust they all flow the same just dif packing if so and dif sounds. intake is an intake the air goes through all of them the same they are all made of the same shit just with a dif sticker on each one to jack up the prices. the only thing maybe dif about intakes is the filter and that pretty much aint nothing. dont get me wrong injen is great but so is every other company out there with good products. i believe its a preference thing not a whos better then who thing.

yea unless u get on ebay and those headers give u like 15-20 lol. intake and exhaust isnt really gonna give you that much power. i mean yes enough to notcie but it aint no turbo ya know. but i mean you will recieve quite a bit at the crank but all in all prob 1/4 of that maybe goes to the wheels. if u want to feel that power a liil more i say get a torque damper or those new scispeed engine mounts that just came out they look very promising. i mean i have weapon r intake with ram air and just an axel back and a few lil tricks and shit that ive done to my car. now each lil thing isnt that much but combined is a big dif. take my friends car for instance he has trd cold air and headers and trd axelback i raced him and beat him. now all i gotta say is if you want power, like my great friend tincan (brad) says you get what u pay for. you by something cheap its prob gonna be shitty or break all the time. you put some money in something then you got a good product. i looked and looked and looked before i found an intake that i like. and honestly when i put my weapon r intake on my car i felt a dif. when i added the ram air i felt some more power. then i heat wrapped my intake and i got even more. and compared to my friends trd cold air intake ive gotten more power for what ive done. injens great never heard any bad things about them but the same for a lot of other companys. personally i prefer weapon r i think they have great stuff. but like i said before its a preference thing. which exhaust sounds better or which intake is better. pretty much all cold airs will give you the same unless designed dif. i love my short ram. thats just me though. but its what ever lol.

Brand names develop reputation for quality products.... so better brand names typically have better exhausts...if they were crap... then they wouldn't be a good brand.

idk man, the wheels you run are heavy wheels and your 1/4 times are probably around 15.9 as you are setup now. Also remember that stock 06-07 civic si's run high 14's - low 15's. Just be careful out there...sounds like a lot of people suck at driving.

again im not being a dick it just sounds to me like you know little if anything about tuning a car or what kind of parts to buy. and another thing about this 3-4 horse power that is being brought up. your lawn mower at home has about 2hp. what i want you to do is start it up and try to stop the blade with your hands. then you will realize the effect of 3-4 more horse power.
