Questions about Hood Decals.

I have a design in mind, and i would appreciate anyone who can give me some tips on how to Tape, paint, and yada yada~ :)
Like~ what type of paint i need, how to actually draw my design on the hood... how not to drippy drip, and what to make the design last... yea.. im kinda clueless at this stuff. Though i have experience in spray paint , and graphic design, i've never done them on cars...only on walls and paper.

I say do automotive paint. You might be able to go to a vinyl shop and have them make a stencil. Or if you plan on free handing, get with the shop that will paint it and have them tape it off. and spray it.

thats a good idea i would like to see pics when your done and maybe how you did it..

Have it cut in vinyl first, and have them see if they can save the outter layer. it can be done, they just have to prune it in reverse. This way, if you don't like the design, you can just peel it off, or alter it to fit your needs.


vinyl's always a good "test" object. Or you could Photoshop it first
