Sorry, I wasn't sure if cars.com would link directly to. I'm pretty much set on #2, it's just 1hr 45 minutes away. Should I try and negotiate price before I go?

#1 or 2 will work...

If you look at the pictures of #3 it looks like it had a spoiler on the back cause there are holes in the rear deck lid.

As for #4 its ok you just have to watch out for the mom and pop sales places cause they dont know how to work on all cars...

But all in all #2 looks the best. Do some research before you make a offer. Like how long has it been there. Run a KBB trade in value and see what the private party value is and offer that but dont be afraid to go up a little from that price if you really like the car. Be prepaired to give them a deposit over the phone to hold the car for you and make sure it is fully refundable in case the car does not check out for you.

I'm in cars sales so if you have any questions feel free to PM me...

Mike very great info! thank you. I have familiarized myself with KBB over the years. Great point the the mom/pop dealers. I've made the appointment monday to make the almost 2hr drive to check it out.

The car has been there for 4 weeks. I'm still excited to check it out. I went yesterday and looked at one from a private owner and it was disgusting. Woman told me only scratches were on headlight lense (chicago car)... well needless to say the bumpers were wretched and the interior/exterior looked like they had not been washed since she's owned it.

Hopefully all goes well! Thanks again!
