I got these fog lights (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-05-06-07-08-09-Scion-TC-OEM-Fog-Lights-w-H3-Bulbs-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem1e5c2c52aeQQitemZ13039 5427502QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccesso ries#ht_3731wt_1167) and I was trying to put some Meng HIDs in them before installing them into the faux vents, but they are just being a pain in the ass. Have any of you had issues with installing HIDs in these types of fog lights?
My issues are as follows:
1) I can't get the little springy clip that holds the bulb in place doesn't want to sit correctly because the HID base is wider than the stock bulb that came with it.
2) I'm wondering if I'm not going to be able to use the rubber seal on the back of the light or need to cut it so I can fit the HID wires through. I only have a couple of days to try to get this done because I have to back to work this week.
Any thoughts?
