anyone have the TRD clutch?

Ive put in alot of hours in my life with a stick. I cannot seem to beat this 08 XB.

I can shift fine in it just cruising, but when I try to shift fast, it just aint happening. I am trying to baby it, not shifting past 3k, but the clutch is just so different then anything ive experienced.

Does the TRD clutch help this at all? Or am I just a noob and need to go back to the parking lot and learn how to drive a stick lol

hah thats exactly what im coming from. I had a 2001 zx3 and a 2003 2.3L SE that I had quite a few bolt ons.

haha ditto... 02 zx3...shoot...hows your xb2? pretty new? do you have the dreaded creek in the a pillar? im kinda freakin out about it at the moment...im bringing it in this friday to have it fixed...

no creek here. Ive read that other people are having the problem.

I love the XB2, love everything about it. The XB1 was cool, but it just didnt hit the sweet spot on me like the XB2 does.

Now if I can just tame this clutch!!! I let some of my buddies drive it, not telling them anything about the clutch, and they all said "wow this just isnt right!". lol

yeah it was really weird for me for a while...i was driving like it was my first time :p haha yeah im loving this vehicle...my focus was straight manual everything..so having this car with all of its features feels like luxury to me...i dont want to give it up...and hope that they fix it quickly so that i can put my wheels on it :D they are coming either today or tomorrow but im gonna wait with the install till after its back...
