May have been wired incorrectly. Did this just start happening or since you picked your ride up?
ever since i got it i just thought it was the music, but last week my friend pointed it out to me that its playing all channels now it really bugs me

sounds like wiring ... or deck settings. like the whole SSP and Normal/Hear/Feel setting. also ... the newer decks have settings specific to each model. I assume you have an 06 if you waited this long to notice lol ... so I think yo hold down the SSP button?
its an 05, like i said i thought it was just the music the whole time
the SSP is allways on hear...
unless my moms with me then its normal
and im never going to feel it sounds like chewbaca taking a shit
anyone got a schematic for how the wiring should be?? so i can check it i have like 7 wires going to the back of the sub in a harness thing

im not so sure it would be the wireing on the sub itself, I could be wrong though. Sounds more like where that wiring is coming from, like its coming out of a standard speaker feed without any filter?
I'm not familiar with bazooka tubes at all, or with the factory installed sub systems, sorry.
I keep hoping someone who knows would come along, I kinda wanna know myself, just as an fyi

Hmm i dont think that the factory system has a crossovr built in which is why it takes all the signals, if it was to have a crossover switch it to low pass, and it should filter out the mids and highs, leaving just the bass to go to the sub. I do beleive that crutchfield has a mids and highs filter but i dont know how effective they are.
could that be what the switch on the back of the sub is??

it's just a standard bazooka tube isnt it?
happen to have the model? should be able to download a pdf operation manual from somewhere.... or you could just hit the switch and see what happens. the only other thing it could be is a power I'd think. Tubes are self powered I'm pretty sure, so it'd make sense to put the filter switch on the tube also
