Well we finally started on my car this weekend. We started pulling the motor on Sunday morning. I decided to do things right and not rush the job. So I'm waiting for the turbo to get here before pulling it out of my friends shop. My PP head, pistons and all other performance parts are here. So we started to take the new motor apart so we can get the rods machined on to the new pistons. My schedule has been kind of hectic so, I will probably have the new motor in with the performance parts within the next two weeks. My turbo is scheduled to be here about then So I will just leave it in the shop and nock that out in a weekend. I should have my car fully boosted with all the performance and internalls done by the week of the 1st!

Here are some pics I took real quick on Sunday. I'm going to ad pics as we go. These are during the motor pull. I'm going to take some more with the motor out on Wednesday.

you putting the same thing back in? Or you going with the 2ZZ swap? I haven't heard what you are up to with your ride since your horror story with ebay.

Same motor! replacing pistons with turbo pistons 8.5:1 compression, new rod bearings, Port and Polished Head, Emanage, (Now stage 1 turbo) I ordered my BOV and intercooler!!! I can't wait to get this baby to the dyno and track. I should be at the dyno tuning the first week of August. Then I'm off to tulsa!!! who wants the first ride?

So you ever get a flow bench on the head? Hope it doesnt hurt you cuz over doing a P&P can hurt your numbers not help

TOYCO actually does a pretty decent job with the head right out of the factory. If it isn't done exactly right it will hurt you, don't expect a whole lot of power increase from the P & P. If you get a 3-4% power increase you would be doing well with this head, there just isn't a lot to improve.

Well the car is finally done with the motor swap, port and polished head, 8.5:1 pistons, race bearings and paint!!!! I wish I could have took better pictures for you guys but when your turning wrenches the hole time it is hard to stop and take pictures. My turbo is in!!!!! We want to put about 1500 miles on the car before the install... this should only take me about a week or two. (i am still waiting on my intercooler which should be here any day!)

I'm going to do a dyno next week with these performance parts and before the turbo install.... i will keep you updated!

Enjoy!
