Other than wheels, springs & swaybar, I find 3 areas on the xD that just kinda are like a "finger on a chalkboard" to my old senses.
:ban: 1. The Rear Wiper - This thing looks like a flipper on a pin ball machine. Thankfully, PimpeOk provided an excellent write-up on removing the rear wiper on Cafe xD at http://www.cafexd.com/viewtopic.php?t=239 (http://www.cafexd.com/viewtopic.php?t=239).
:spam: 2. The Scion Badges - both front and rear are just too big and ugly. The front one looks like a Frisbee! There are numerous "de-badging" DIYs on Scion Life, but none specific to the xD. Since I like it clean and simple, I see no purpose in replacing them with other badges (Jap). Has anyone dealt with this issue specifically on the xD? Is there a hole under them that will require filling?
:stupids: 3. Top and Bottom Grills - The mismatching front grills look like an afterthought, or they just ran out of parts! "Gutter guard" on top and tubing on the bottom, what were they thinking? The lower looks like a refrigerator with the bottom grill off. I would think it would look more aesthetic with "gutter guard" in both grills. Anyone know of a suitable material? Also, I'm kind of leaning toward "tying the grills together" with matte black vinyl like zoltiz has done on his on Cafe xD at http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u162/smokeydog001/vinyl.jpg (http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u162/smokeydog001/vinyl.jpg). I think this looks awsome and really helps the front end design.
