Supposedly this guy just got done filming an episode of "Pinks!" and won, obviously (he still has his car). Rumors of an 11 second 1/4 mile were floating around the car show. I dunno how...but it is pretty bad ass. Here's the video I took.

The PE Supercharger gives off the same amount of boost as the Blitz, and I ran a 17 second 1/4 mile. My supercharger runs perfectly fine floored just doesnt like low RPM for some reason.

Impossible I say........ from what I have seen in the car anyway. Noone has even come close to getting 200hp at the wheels on the B.

210WHP? no way in hell. I am hitting 150HP at the crank, 120WHP with I/E/H/SC. My Automatic is my limiting factor for 1/4 mile times.

If you do the math you would have to be running around 21lbs of Boost on the 1NZFE to obtain 210WHP. Stock internals can only take 10 anything above that and boom.

Hmmm for the 11 sec 1/4 mile with all that rice(weight) he will acutally need quite a bit, which i honestly dont see that happening. for the PINKS! show schedule look on the speedchannel website and it will tell you when it airs.

Boostbox, if you are at 120hp at the wheels and running a 17 in the quarter mile, then how does this other guy in this other xb forum do it just under 15? He has an automatic and is n/a...I think he changed to higher compression ratio pistons to achieve 125hp which is only a bit over yours.

1. Dyno does not show me that this is actually on his car.
2. No real time slip posted. Anyone can write numbers down. Show me a photo copy!
3. You ran a 16.2 on your stick box.... I can believe that. Stick vs. Auto, no contest with our heavy clunky transmission which shifts like crap.
4. Nobody has lined up their box with me at a dead stop on a drag strip. I will not count a rollling start due to my transmission. I have no controll over it not downshifting and causing me 2-3 seconds delay in acceleration.

5. I am ready to line up at the drag strip when you are :)

All is correct that you speak my friend! The only way these times are possible is if it has a bad ass engine swap! Big shot of Notrious? To get it to 11's on a 1NZFE it would have only went one pass. No way in hell the 3 needed to win PINKS!

Andyet ZPI made 181hp on their turbo setup. Not sure if they have been to the track yet, but on the streets it is very quick.

Sorry Boostbox but I ran a 17.85 Stock in my xB I'm not calling you out for a flame war but how can i run a 17.85 stock and you only run a 17 with all that?
