This is a little something that Medford's OLD club (team Ascension) came up with. I think it is a GREAT tool to be used by ALL club members attending car shows.

Car Show Etiquette

#1: WORK AS A TEAM
Help others set up the group items such as: tents, tables, chairs, ect... when you get done cleaning your car, ask fellow members if you can lend a hand in getting their car clean. When we work together we accomplish so much more.

2. Respect each other.
We are a club/family. There is no reason why we should hate on each other or each others accomplishments.

3. Respect other rides
There is no reason why we should at any time publicly hate on someone's car. This goes for cars out of the club.
If you don't like the car you do not need to make comments to people about it. There is a time and place for this kind of discussion.
We may keep the discussion amongst ourselves, but there is no need to let everyone at the show hear your negative comments.

4. Please do not brag
This is unnecessary. We do not need to pull up at a show and make it know to everyone that we are going to "clean up".
The awards speak for themselves. Rolling into a show talking trash about winning trophies or saying how much better
your car looks than everyone's makes you and the club look bad.

5. Be happy for others
It would be great if every time we went to a show everyone could win a trophy. That is not going to happen though.
You also don't know exactly what the judges are basing their decision on. Every show is different. Everyone's car changes from year to year.
We should be happy when one of our members wins a trophy. That says a lot about our club.
You should feel good that 10-15 cars we bring can usually win the majority of the trophies at the shows.

6. Have fun
When it comes down to it this is what it is about. We all put a lot of hard work into our cars. The show is the time to just relax,
hang out, and have fun. Granted when you first pull up you want to finish some minor details. After you car has been entered though,
it is out of your hands. Show are the time we should get to know each other better and just chill.

7. Respect from others
If we follow all of the guidelines above we will really make a name for ourselves. When others see how close we are to each other
they will realize that we are not just a bunch of "punks" who drive reckless and talk "smack". They will see that we are not like
other clubs around here. We actually have structure and most of all respect one another. People see this and want to be in our club
and want to invite us to their shows. Think about how cool it is to be part of a great club that everyone wants to be part of.
Not everyone can say that. People with Scions will want to join and people driving other cars will wish they could join.

These are just a few things we should really try to follow. We are different than any other club around here, so let's act like it.
We do think outside of the box, some of us DRIVE the box  . Some people may think we are strange, but others think we are doing something great.
