first things first hello all my name is paul and am from stl.I drive 2008 spec tc.I was told tpms from my steel 16's won't work on the new alloys I ordered.Is this true?

Welcome Paul. Not for sure on an answer to your question but if you go to the tC section of the forum you can search or post and someone will probably know. Be sure to include what size and kind of aftermarket rims you bought.

thanks for the info.I would love join stl but do not know how.Plus I do not have alot of time to do club or meet stuff.work long hours at hospital and have 9 month old son.soon as i get time would love to do scion thing.

Alot of people in the stl chapter have things to do and cannot make meets. you just make the meets you can and we would appreciate it...

how to join stl chapter: just attend two meets and you're in! being active on the forums would be nice too!:Banane09:

If you haven't found the answer yet, they will work. Some rims require and adapter be installed so they fit properly, but the shop that mounts your tires will swap them to your new wheels and use the adapter if they need to.
