Question for TRD strut bar owners

I have a question for those of you that own the TRD strut bar...

Are you able to remove the engine cover without removing the strut bar?

And if you are able to remove the cover, are you able to do so without scratching/rubbing the surface of the cover?

just put a towel over the engine cover and put it out. that's what i did.

I recently acquired a custom painted engine cover and I want to be able to put it on at a show... I need to get rid of my DC sports bar to be able to do that... I was just wondering if it is possible to get the engine cover on or off with the TRD strut bar installed (without ruining the paint on the engine cover)

I have been able to get mine on and off with my trd strut bar.

i have the raceland strut bar, which is essentially the same as the TRD.

i can get my engine cover off no problem.

i scrape mine everytime i take it off and on. i usually just loosen the bar enough to get the cover on.
