Anyone know if I will have issues with hotchkis sport springs, trd struts, and 18x8.5 tires? I think I have a fourty series tire. I hope it wont rub. I get about a 1.7" drop.

Shouldn't rub. Ben is running S-Techs (which are lower than the hotchkis) and 19x9's or 10's and has very little rubbing. You'll be fine with 18's. :up:

Well.. depends on the offset of your wheels.... what's the offset?

i think 40 offset. what about a good camber kit? anyone know where can get one for cheap??? I have been looking at sites like SL but havent got a chance to see any reviews.

Should be ok with 225 tires.

Don't mean to thread jack but while we're on the topic of hotchkis springs, my friend installed mine yesterday and took off the bump stops because he said I'd get a lower drop, but now my car sounds like it's going to fall apart when I'm driving. Anyone know how much drop is sacrificed by putting the bump stops back on because I'm going to go crazy if I have to listen to the rattling.

you shouldnt take them completly off cutting them a little is sometimes helpful as the shock has a shorter rebound area so to keep from slamming off the bump stop all the time they usaully get cut down about half way but you still need them there to keep the shock from bottoming out

now get off my thread... lol j/k. I have read quite a few forums and havent ever heard that you would need to even cut them but tahoepimp knows more about it than i do so listen to him. Did you try it with them on first???

Well when my friend was installing them he put the bump stops on for a second and then looked at it like a hippo just gave birth to a giraffe. I guess we'll try to put the entire bump stop on first and see if it's fine otherwise we'll cut it. It's gonna have to wait till tomorrow though since today is Thanksgiving so my only concern is how much damage my car will take if I drive it since I have to work today >.<
