Yup! Can't wait. Any guesses to what this kit is going to run? Roundabout figures?

Oh, and I say do the bottom V light with red and white leds in the whole thing, red for brake and white for reverse.

WELL ABOUT THE PRICING THIS IS WHAT STEVE FROM SCIONPRO STATED ON SCION LIFE .COM

Being made in the US by a leading manufacturer I will keep the costs very reasonable. The three price spoiler kit will dial in at 995 plus approx 60 dollars shipping. Skirts at 499. plus shipping for the pair. Exhaust has yet to be made. Front /rear and hood have yet to be developed. The carbon fiber option on these parts has not been determined yet. I will not speculate on cost for a complete kit until development is further along after the first of the year.

But yes i will have to agree about the V light intergrated with the back up light in the bottom of the back bumper. It just seems to top off the kit and make it even more complete.

I say *bump* for the V light !!!!

Man, that's wild.

It's a really nice kit, but I'd hate to see it on every 2Gen box... Some folks would inevitably screw it up and make this kit look like poo (aka FAB-style kit on every 1Gen xB ever)

the v-light is cool but should be optional. i think move the led's to the mid wing.

Yeah but you pay for what you get. I have a feeling that the manufacture will be doing an awsome job on production.

I have to get rid of my Tc because we have a baby on the way and my girlfriend has a 5 year old son so im going to need some more room and a 4 door. But i still would like to show, so i will be purchasing this kit when the time comes around april when i get the Gen 2 Xb.

Yeah, I was exspecting it to be around 2K, but wasn't exspecting 3 spoilers to run 1K by themselves, that's it.

yeah but im sure not alot of peeps may have that kind of money so we might be the fortunate ones to be flosin this kit.

I plan on doing my xb just like the one in the illistrated drawlings but probably different rims.

I wounder what other rims would look good with this kit. I want to go with 20's or bigger.

Production starts next week. I will re-announce finalized pricing. You will be pleased with the final numbers. I went to Reno to touch and sign off on the parts. They have been test fitted to two other production cars besides the mule car. Fit and finish will be impeccable. We had to go with a bolt on for the upper spoiler as it is very large. The front visor and mid spoiler are 3m and the skirts are 3m with one alignment screw on each side. Carbon option will be available on all parts. The rear will be produced by spring including the v lamp. The front is a bit away yet.

Seems like the skirts are a little too ummm, tall maybe. Because if anyone plans on running this kit and bags and they really want to tuck the wheels, seems like the skirts wont allow it.

You dont think it will be too much air pressure under the visor to rip it off?

^ good questions...

I dont think this kit would be for the airbag type of person if they wanted to go that route with this kit. It just seems like a spring riding body kit with maybe a 2" drop.

I had the same concern about the front visor. Where i live we get wind gust
up to 50 + on a regular basis, from the sangabrel mountian pass. but im sure something could be done to retrofit it better to the xb.

I'm really not trying to be neagtive about this. But they(sideskirts) look like they are already too low. Like if you were to encounter a speedbump, it would be over...and add a drop too...I dont think it would fare very well.

Side skirts are lower than stock due to the upcoming side exiting exhaust option.

Price you pay is for the fitment, all hand laid made in the USA fiberglass that fits like a glove.

Road tests are being done for the front spoiler to determine need for screws from the inside or not.

The rear upper bolts on in the stock locations the mid spoiler has a screw or two on each side.

The gen 2 owners have a choice buy a cheap kit and pay for the body shop to get it to fit well or buy this kit paint it and install it. You could even rattle can paint it.

All prices for spoilers and skirts are up on the site now. Also pictures of the parts painted and soon on the car.

Actually that is a good price, the manufacturer recommended higher prices!!!

Remember these are hand laid in the USA not chop glassed sprayed into a mold. They carry a warranty. Also the design is not a simple process to lay it up and get uniform thickness throughout the part. Also they built a mold of the gen 2 rear to test fit every piece to.

The price and kit is not for everyone that is why it is offered in pieces and not as a complete kit only. Get the mid spoiler and run it with a different spoiler and the 5axis lip kit.

Comment from the painter of this car about the fit of the side skirts "The painter did comment on how nice the side skirts fit on with the rounded edges. He said it was like they made it just for my car."

The kit itself looks good. I bet it would be badass on a RS5...

But I still think its too low. Theres more wheel gap than between the ss and the ground

If you have the factory spoiler from scion will the upper spoiler from this kit bolt right in? Or will new holes need to be drilled?

ogerdgonz
06-16-2008, 08:58 AM
The rear upper spoiler uses the exact same mounting locations as the stock spoiler. It is a simple remove stock spoiler and install new spoiler situation.

Let me know if you have any other questions or are interested in ordering one.
