What size rear spacers is everyone running? I have 17x8 with 205/40 tires. So i'm thinking of getting 25mm or 20 mm. What do you think?

Alright thanks. I will probably go with 15mm then. Its a happy medium. Of course, I'm only dropped on Eibach Pro-Kit springs

The 15mm looked really good but if I hit a hard bump or had a passenger..I would cut the tires...

What about on the stocks? 15mm? Because i was just thinking of powder coating my stocks Shadow Mica (maybe a lighter shade) and chroming a ring around em cuz it's cheap and looks pretty good on Ketchup's box from clubxb.com

Spacer size you need will depend on the width and offset of your wheels.

You can probably find a set of used wheels for the same price. Powder coating can be $50-75 per wheel plus the cost of the trim rings. Final cost could be almost as much as aftermarket 15" wheels.

He is correct. I got my rims powder coated black and it was like 250 I think but at least I got a lifetime warranty.

I've got 10, 15, and 20mm hub spacers for sale if anyone is interested.

I have 15mm's on my 18x8 et40 with 205/40 tires. I had to roll my fenders, but I only rub on bumps or if I make it real low in the back. I don't think you would have problems on DF210's or higher.

^ If you have a local hook-up it might be cheaper. Most local places will charge $200-300 for the powder coating and another $65-90 for the trim rings. Thats a total of $300-400 which will get you a bunch of different entry level wheels.

entry level wheel examples?... i've looked at XXR's and priced them with tires and it was more than powder coating...

You can use your stock tires on most 15x7 and 15x8 wheels. Will give you all summer/fall to purchase different tires for winter.

I'm running 10mm hub spacers on 18 x 7.5 w/ 45mm offset and have enough room to tuck when I'm laid out. 15mm would probably require rolled fenders if you're sitting pretty low.

with spacers the thing to note is the offset of your wheels first and how much drop you are gonna get.rememeber that the smore you space out the more you limit your drop. But if you are just running springs then ide say you are safe with watever spacer you decide to run. However with extreme slammage on coilovers or air then you might have to use more extreme techniques like fender rolling and pulling.with air though its recomended you dont space too much coz you wanna be able to get as much tucking when u lay out.if you really need more help i say you pm bbszero on clubxb.com. he is the spacer guru and he understands offset really well.

I appreciate all the help. I'm not going any lower than I am now. Which is only like 1.5" lower than stock, so I'll probably run 15 or 20MM.
