Rachel - Northern Kentucky (basically Cincinnati, OH)

Hi, my name is Rachel, I bought my RS 1.0 (tastyCakes) back in February with only 24,000 miles on her. Since then, my mods have been pretty limited, but hoping the summer weather will change that. I added a TRD badge on the front grill and purchased 5000K HIDs. I have also purchased OEM projectors but have not yet gotten the chance to install them. Also planning on painting the calipers red. Don't have extremely extravagant plans for it because I just adore the car so much as is, and the main mods (spoiler, lowering, tint, shorty antenna, etc) were already done when I got it. I've never joined a car club, not sure what all is involved, but wanted to sign up here and just see what things were like.

The spoiler on it is NOT OEM, however, I do not know who makes it.

Where in NorTucky are you?
I'm near Newport if you're familiar with that. Really close to the River, you stand on the roof of my building and you're looking at downtown Cincy LOL.

When I first got the car I thought it was the OEM one till I looked side by side with an actual OEM one. This one is not quite as tall, the sides extend out farther (OEM ones usually seem to line up with the hatch) and the side triangle shaped pieces are shorter. I have other pics from another debate about the spoiler on a different forum haha.

As far as the license plate holder, yes, I found this car almost all the way to Cleveland, the dealer met me in Columbus LOL :DanseurJaune:

taktc - I felt very fortunate to have found it, was definitely worth the drive to Columbus!!!

rhettb - ever since I got this car I feel like everyone is trying to hit it all the time! Or maybe I'm just more paranoid of it now and people have always been this reckless of drivers. I just feel like I've had waaaay too many close calls of people running lights or turning in front of me, etc since I got it!

ParkJotC - I feel the call of the mod bug, but definitely not as intensely as others! At first though I was like, I'm keeping this as is, but it can always handle a few improvements. I'm not willing to make any irreversible changes to the car though (i.e. painting the dash or waterfall, etc) so not sure how far I'll run with it. And I don't foresee myself ever wanting to get rid of these wheels : ) I love 'em!
